Course Description

The Langauge Arts Department of An Claidheamh Soluis/The Celtic Arts Center will start a six-month Conversational Irish Language Class beginning on March 19, 2012. Based on the textbook Gaeilge Gan Stró! Beginners Level by Éamonn Ó Dónaill, the class will be taught by Seán Aherne, director of our Language Arts Department. The class will meet from 7 to 8PM on Monday nights in the theatre space at Theatre Unlimited (aka "T.U. Studios").

Textbook Price & Tuition

The price of textbook, Gaeilge Gan Stró - Beginners Level (which includes four audio CDs), plus postage will be $50 per student. We won't be ordering the book until we have the money in hand, so bring cash or a check to the first class.

In addition to the cost of the textbook, members of the Celtic Arts Center will pay a weekly tuition of $5.00 per Monday night class. Non-members will pay a weekly tuition of $7.00 per class session. The textbook will be available through the Language Arts Department of the Celtic Arts Center at a discount. A sample unit may be viewed at www.ranganna.ie. This is a beginners-level course and anyone who is interested in speaking Irish is welcome to join.
