An Claidheamh Soluis / The Celtic Arts Center proudly presents...

An Claidheamh Soluis/The Celtic Arts Center will celebrate the life and works of the quintessential 20th-Century Welsh poet and playwright, Dylan Thomas, with an evening of discussion and dramatic readings of his work.

Dylan, one of the most famous and beloved poets of the 20th-Century, was born in Wales and died in New York City at age 39. He left behind such classic works as "Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night," "Fern Hill," "And Death Shall Have No Dominion," the play "Under Milk Wood," and the legendary short story, "A Child's Christmas In Wales."

Join us on Thursday, November 19th at the Silverlake Branch of the LA Public Library in Silverlake for a wonderful evening full of the prose and poetry of Dylan Thomas. Readings will begin at 6:00PM.

For those curious for more information about the poet and playwright, here's a link to the Wikipedia page about Dylan Thomas.
