Each year, around Halloween, the Celtic Arts Center holds one of its major fundraising events to celebrate Samhain (pronounced "Sow-wen"), the ancient Celtic New Year. It's the time of year when the shadowy veil between this world and the Otherworld is thinnest and the spirits of the past mingle amongst the living!
Come hear some traditional live music by The Praties and The Straw Boys, be enthralled by Irish step dancers from the Celtic Irish Dance Academy as they glide and leap, and listen to the enchanting tales of Bill Howard Storyteller Extraordinaire. There will be complimentary snacks as well as traditional food available for purchase and a no-host bar.
Wear a costume if you dare!
Our annual Samhain Celebration is an event not to be missed! Proceeds go toward funding our cultural programming and also help pay the rent. You are cordially invited to join in the fun and festivities!
